Wilkes County Board of Commissioners at their regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 adopted a Resolution for Establishing Schedule of Regular Meetings for the Wilkes County Board of Commissioners which stated effective May 1, 2013, the regular meetings shall be held at 10:00 a.m. on the first Tuesday and at 7:00 p.m. on the third Tuesday of each month.

The Wilkes County Board of Commissioners will meet on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. in the Commissioners Board Room. Public Concerns will be heard at 6:30 P.M. Anyone wishing to speak during Public Concerns must sign up with the County Clerk (651-7346) by Noon on Monday, June 17, 2013. Public Hearings will be held at 6:55 p.m. (road name request for private drive - Blackberry Forest Drive); and at 6:50 p.m. (road name request to rename Hurst Street to Running Cedar Drive).
