County Services

Wilkes County Government remains open, but we strongly encourage citizens to call in advance to determine if their needs can be met by phone, email, or online services. In regards to the County Office building if in person visits are necessary please use main entrance on the 1st floor.  This is particularly important in order to facilitate social distancing.  For more information on social distancing please click here to view the document.

Essential services, including law enforcement, fire, EMS, 911, and Public Health will continue as usual.

Wilkes County will assess operations on a daily basis to determine if future modifications are needed.  If you have questions please contact County Manager John Yates.
