[ARCHIVED] Vaccination Clinic 2/19 Delayed Start

Due to the inclement weather and safety concerns, Wilkes Health is delaying the start time for the second dose clinic on Friday. The COVID-19 Vaccination clinic will start at 12:00 pm instead of 10:00 am. Due to safety concerns for clients and staff we are asking that no one receiving a vaccine show up at River’s Edge prior to 11:00 am. Please add two hours to your scheduled appointment time to know when to show up (ie appointment at 10:00 now at 12:00, 12:00 now 2:00).

The vaccination clinic will be sharing the road with Duke Power. Please be patient with us as we are working together to ensure everyone can get a vaccine and have power. We anticipate this will slow our process down a little bit. We will work to get everyone through as quickly and safely as possible.

For those who had a vaccine scheduled on Thursday February 18th, we are still determining the next clinic date. We will reach out to you as soon as we know vaccine has shipped and have an anticipated delivery date.

If you have questions or concerns, please call 336-990-9950.
