The Town of North Wilkesboro has issued a boil water advisory. All facilities inspected by the Wilkes County Health Department Environmental Health must maintain a potable water supply at all times. Until the Town of North Wilkesboro determines a potable water supply all facilities in North Wilkesboro must close. Again, these are just facilities that are inspected by Wilkes County Health Department. 

 Long term care facilities must go to the emergency water back up plan. Also ensure that the use of dishwashers are discontinued and switch to paper products.
